The BeanBug minute covert inductive listening device utilises digital technology and bespoke software to give outstanding speech quality, reduced interference levels and can be used in the left or right ear. It is anatomically profiled to fit deep in the ear canal making it discreet and secure. Special functions include soft-squelch, automatic gain control and low battery warning beeps. Factory set at 96dB SPL for all input conditions the BeanBug will provide intelligible communications at safe audio levels; alternative levels can be factory programmed. The BeanBug is robust and designed to operate in hostile environments and incorporates a user replaceable cerumen (earwax) filter system. Design emphasis has been placed on it’s ability to suppress inductive interference; typically from CANbus networks in vehicles, TDMI noise from TETRA terminals and Cellphones as well as mains-borne noise from electric motors, neon signs and power lines.
